Terry Wang, DMD, MD
Dr. Terry Wang is one of the founding members of Maine Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, PA. Dr. Wang received his BSc in biology from the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. He then went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry from 1991-1995 and received his DMD degree. He completed his oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 2001. During his residency training, Dr. Wang also attended medical school at Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University and graduated with an MD degree in 1998. Dr. Wang is licensed to practice dentistry and medicine in the state of Maine.
Dr. Wang is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Wang also maintains active memberships in the American Medical Association, American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association and Androscoggin Valley Dental Society. Active staff privileges are maintained at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and courtesy staff privileges at Central Maine Medical Center.
Dr. Wang’s clinical interests includes dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial trauma and orthognathic surgery.
